Day 1
Our guide will pick you up at the Adisucipto Airport Yogyakarta according to your flight. Near the airport, we will have our lunch at the local restaurant near our first and unique destination. This unique destination is The Prambanan Temple. This unique and ancient temple was built by The Sanjaya Dynasty on 9th Century. It consist of more than one hundreds temple with three major temple resembling the Three Major Gods in Hindhu. In this temple, you can enjoy also explore the ancient Hindhu monument with a remarkable arts and architectural ambience. We can learn The Secret of the old Javanese history and culture here. Finishing The Prambanan Temple visit, we will help you for checking in to your hotel and enjoy your night at our recommended hotel. Day 2
Starting at 9 in the morning, we continue our second day by visiting our Sultan Palace and Tamansari Castle. Sultan Palace or Kraton was built in the middle of 18th century and it is still used by the Royal family nowadays. We will learn the history of Yogyakarta city and how this Sultanate decide to join The Republic Of Indonesia altogether with the Javanese culture that are still preserved by the royal faimly.
We continue our trip at the Tamansaru Castle after Kraton visit. Tamansari Castle was built by The First Ruler Of Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat Sultanate. It was used by the Sultan’s family as a refreshment place. It has a unique design as one of the architect was Portugesee. What will it feels there? We leave it to your imagination for now. After we visit and learn about the history and culture of Yogyakarta, we will bring you to the oldest district of Yogyakarta, Kotagede, located on the south east of this city. Here, you can enjoy your lunch time inside the Sekar Kedhaton Restaurant, a classic style restaurant with the combination of Javanese and Colonial architecture.
We will present you the ancient and unique heritage inside Kotagede district after lunch. This District is the oldest district of Yogyakarta. Our Sultanate ancestry was began here. It started from the 16th Century. Inside this district we will bring you to enjoy ancient heritage of Yogyakarta Sultanate ancestor. We also learn about the Javanese culture through Gamelan, our traditional instrumental orchestra, and traditional dance class. We will exploring Kotagede by becak.
Finished with the whole activity on second day, we will drive you back to your hotel for having a good and nice rest inside the hotel.
Day 3
We will start early in this morning at 03.00 AM. Our guide and driver will bring you to Borobudur temple he oldest Budhist temple in Magelang town, north of Yogyakarta, to enjoy the sunrise also exploring it. Borobudur temple was built by the biggest Budhist dynasty at Java on the 8th century, The Syailendra dynasty. While exploring this temple you can find Javanese ancient culture and way of life through the reliefs. This temple is considered as an outstanding temple and library that was built by the Javanese in the past time by UNESCO.
We will be heading to Candirejo, a local village near Borobudur. Inside Candirejo, we will explore this village using our old transportation vehicle called Dokar. Feel the ambience and the traditions of Javanese people who live inside a village.
We continue this trip by having lunch nearby at local restaurant. Then, we will drive you back to the hotel. Enjoy your night and have a good rest.
Day 4
The tour will start at 9.00 in the morning. We will present you one of our tradition through batik lesson at the Roro Jonggrang gallery. Here you will have a real experience on how to paint one of our remarkable and complex traditional clothes patterns. We will drive you for having lunch in our recommended restaurant after we finish the batik class. Finishing the lunch, we will drive you back to your hotel and have a rest while preparing for sunset.
We will depart from the hotel at 16.00 in the evening to Ijo temple. Ijo temple is a Hindu temple located at the Gumuk Ijo hill. The temple compound stood on western slope of the hill, in a quiet region, 18 kilometers east of Yogyakarta around. This temple was built between 10th to 11th century uring the Hindhu Mataram Kingdom period. Enjoy the antique architecture of the Hindhu temple and feel the ambience of the sunset from above.
Day 5
We will help you to transfer out at the hotel and the airport.
