About Jomblang Cave Tour Yogyakarta.
With a thick ancient forest inside, Jomblang Cave is a fantastic scenery to behold. The forest within the vertical cave is covered with different kinds of vegetation. History reveals that the magnificent cave was formed through a geological process when the soil and all plants on it crumbled some thousand years ago. Since then, the vegetation has survived up to date. Thanks to the consistent supply of water from Kalisuci river that flows at the bottom of the cave.
A 300-meter street with its all-natural attractive accessory will undoubtedly lead you to the edge of the cave, a perfect place where you can see the light from paradise.
• Get lowered using a rope into a 50 meters sinkhole at the Jomblang Cave.
• Experience the incredible sunlight that shines through the sinkhole.
• Discover the dense forest that lies below the giant cave.
Your jour journey to the cave begins from the Jomblang Resort. First, you’ll be requested to register for an insurance requirement and then obtain your queue number before you stroll through this beautiful natural site. After you’re ready for the upcoming activities, you’ll proceed to witness the dense forest as well as the caves that were formed by underground rivers and rainwater that eroded the karst rock over many years ago.
By around 10 am, you’ll be inside a cave, which is made of a cave system. The real cave that is opened for tourists that visit the location is made up of three distinctive parts. The first part of the cave comprises a giant sinkhole, formed as a result of the collapsed roof of the cave. To enter the cave, you’ll be provided by a rope that will lower you through the 25-meter-wide sinkhole. The sight of the hole and the sunlight that shines through it will surely amaze you. In fact, you will feel like you’re entering into another realm.
Also, the cave opening is one of the sights you will want a photo of it and won’t want to miss the feeling that comes from being there.
Before the tour comes to an end, you’ll head for lunch and a refreshing shower at the resort.
